NEW DELHI - The second generation of the Toyota Kijang Innova reportedly will make its debut on the Indian market next year. The procession of the launch is planned to be done in February 2016 to coincide with the event the Auto Expo 2016. Previously, it was rumored that the launch of the all new Innova dilakukam separate ceremonies are not held together with automotive exhibition.
Reporting from indianautosblog, all new Innova for the Indian market will be manufactured at the plant of Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) at Bidadi, Karnataka, India. Although manufactured locally but there is no information about what percentage of local components that will be applied to the MPV cars.
India also reported Toyota will produce 90,000 units of Innova per year, or approximately 7,500 units every month highway. Number of units produced approximately 45 percent more than the previous Innova production.
All new Innova has a long dimension of 4,735 millimeters (mm), 1,830 mm wide and 1,795 mm high and 2,750 mm wheelbase. Source of power comes from a 2.0 liter gasoline engine with dual VVT-i technology and diesel engine capacity of 2.4 L GD type of technology-supported VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) and the Intercooler.
As is known, All new Toyota Innova was launched for the first time in the world by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) sole agents of Toyota cars in Indonesia. The launch will take place on 23 November 2015 is housed in a five-star hotel in Senayan, South Jakarta.
